Prize Presentation Ceremony

Today our school had a prize presentation ceremony for the winners of the school activity for lower primary organized by the library. The activity ranged from colouring to finding the hidden object. Teachers were also involved and were given their own colouring activity, the winner was selected by our own talented art teacher, Cikgu Fatimah . Prizes for the teachers were given on the same day.

Netball Team Receives Prizes

The headmistress of OKSB Kilanas Primary School held a prize giving ceremony for its netball team yesterday morning.

It showed appreciation for the students’ good efforts in trying to win the tournament held last Tuesday for Brunei. It continued with reading activity where students read books in a fun way to nurture the habit of reading books among primary school students. A short `doa’ for AH1N1 was also read before the lesson was started.

Maulud Nabi Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - OKSB Kilanas Primary School marked the birthday of Prophet Muhammad yesterday morning at the multipurpose hall and school compound.

Hjh Jijah binti Hj Othman, the headmistress, together with the teachers led the students to walk around the school's compound to commemorate the birthday of the prophet soon after the morning assembly and hoisting of the school's flag.

The event continued in the multipurpose hall where two competitions were held `Azan' for male students and `Surah' for female students. Prior to the competitions, a doa al-Fatihah was read by one of the male teachers.

The event ended with three winners chosen for each competition. However, the prize ceremony will be held this coming Saturday.
