OKSB Kilanas Primary School celebrated the 26th National Day yesterday morning at its multipurpose hall.
It started with the singing of the national anthem 'Allah Peliharakan Sultan' followed by a 'surah al-fatihah" recitation to bless the event.
The school headmistress, Hjh Jijah binti Hj Othman, spoke about the date, theme and brief history of the National Day. She reminded the students not to forget their task and responsibility and loyalty and the country.
Teachers and students sang patriotic songs such as 'Purih Bangsa', 'Brunei Bumi Bertuah' and 'Kibarkan Bendera'. The event ended with a 'doa selamat'.
